What is Freemasonry?

Freemasonry, also known as Masonry, is the world's largest fraternal organization. But it is so much more. It is a Brotherhood of like-minded men who work hard to foster personal growth while improving the lives of those around them. A Brotherhood of lifelong friendships and a culture of philanthropy to make profound differences and improvements among our Brethren, families, and communities. The Masonic traditions were founded upon three core values: Brotherly love, Relief, and Truth.

Brotherly Love

As Brothers, we value respect, freedom, kindness, tolerances, and value our differences be they religious, ethnic, cultural, social, generational, and educational. As Masons, we strive for harmony within our lives, our lodges, and our communities.

Relief

Masons take responsibility for the well-being of our Brothers, our families, and our communities. We are proactive in philanthropy, community involvement, and care for one another.

Truth

Honor, integrity, acceptance of personal responsibility; we stay true to our personal code of conduct and the continuous pursuit of knowledge.

Our Mission

The mission of Freemasonry is to foster personal growth, improve the lives of others, inspire leadership, and champion fellowship.

Our mission is guided by the enduring principles of brotherly love, relief, and truth.

What We Do

We provide an engaging membership experience through relevant and enhanced learnings that promote fellowship, family, and lifelong learning.

Leadership development and Masonic education are offered to members in pursuit of continuous knowledge.

Community

As a lodge, we champion many great causes ranging from youth organizations to animal support and protection.

But perhaps none so personal or so affecting as that of our support of the Medical Assistance and Cancer Car programs for those in need at various locations throughout the Province.

Those In Need

Relief is one of Freemasonry’s most enduring values. We take responsibility for the well-being of our brothers, our families, and our communities.

It is our obligation to one another. Our fraternity's philanthropic causes are supported exclusively by our member's generous contributions and tireless efforts.

Who can become a Mason?

Membership within our Fraternity is open to any man 21 years of age or older who meets strict qualifications and standards of good moral character and intention, and who also believes in a Supreme Being.

Freemasonry welcomes men of all ethnic, cultural, and religious backgrounds and beliefs.
